Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Kensington Gardens, Afternoon Haze by Paul Fordyce Maitland was sold in the British and European Art auction at Bonhams in London in July this year. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 8,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 8,320.00 (€ 9,706.92). Admittedly, works by Paul Fordyce Maitland have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Row In August in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 41,210.20).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Kensington Gardens, Afternoon Haze von Paul Fordyce Maitland wurde im Juli diesen Jahres in der Auktion British and European Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 8.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 8.320,00 (€ 9.706,92) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Fordyce Maitland auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Row In August im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.250,00 (€ 41.210,20).
