Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Waves Breaking at Sunset by Paul Dougherty was auctioned at Bonhams in Edinburgh in November this year. The price achieved of USD 4,096.00 (€ 3,755.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paul Dougherty have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Majestic Coast in August 2021 with an auction result of USD 44,062.50 (€ 37,341.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Waves Breaking at Sunset von Paul Dougherty kam im November diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Edinburgh zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 4.096,00 (€ 3.755,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Dougherty auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Majestic Coast im August 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.062,50 (€ 37.341,10).
