Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work A View into the Cove by Paul Dougherty was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August this year. It achieved a price of USD 5,760.00 (€ 5,314.14), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 15%. Admittedly, works by Paul Dougherty have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Majestic Coast in August 2021 with an auction result of USD 44,062.50 (€ 37,341.10).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit A View into the Cove von Paul Dougherty kam im August diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 5.760,00 (€ 5.314,14) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 15%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Dougherty auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Majestic Coast im August 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.062,50 (€ 37.341,10).
