Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Still life with Tulips and Anemones by Paul Dougherty was sold in the California and Western Art Online auction at Bonhams in Los Angeles in December 2020. The price achieved of USD 3,825.00 (€ 3,127.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Dougherty achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Majestic Coast in August 2021 with an auction result of USD 44,062.50 (€ 37,341.10).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Still life with Tulips and Anemones von Paul Dougherty wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion California and Western Art Online bei Bonhams in Los Angeles versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 3.825,00 (€ 3.127,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Dougherty erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Majestic Coast im August 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.062,50 (€ 37.341,10).
