Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work On the Bernina, Swiss Alps by Paul Dougherty for USD 408.00 (€ 360.49). This price was achieved in the auction California and Western Art Online at Bonhams in Los Angeles and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Dougherty achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Majestic Coast in August 2021 with an auction result of USD 44,062.50 (€ 37,341.10).

Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion California and Western Art Online bei Bonhams in Los Angeles erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Dougherty erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Majestic Coast im August 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 44.062,50 (€ 37.341,10).
