Die Arbeit Study For 'Rainy Day, Columbus Circle' von Paul Cornoyer kam im März 2010 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 12.013,90) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 35%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paul Cornoyer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The New York Public Library im Mai 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 133.000,00 (€ 85.475,58).
