Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Paul Cadmus achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in January last year. In the Prints & Multiples auction, the work Teddo sold for USD 4,462.00 (€ 3,979.66) - well above the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paul Cadmus achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lloyd and Barbara Wescott in November 2021 with an auction result of USD 2,430,000.00 (€ 2,152,919.29).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Paul Cadmus erzielte im Januar letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Prints & Multiples wurde die Arbeit Teddo für USD 4.462,00 (€ 3.979,66) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paul Cadmus erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lloyd and Barbara Wescott im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 2.430.000,00 (€ 2.152.919,29).
