Admittedly, works by Paul Bril have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work An Extensive Landscape With Tobit, Tobias And The Archangel Raphael in July 2010 with an auction result of GBP 713,250.00 (€ 857,602.76).
