Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The stag shoot by Patrick Nasmyth was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2006. It changed hands for a price of GBP 960.00 (€ 1,416.20) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Patrick Nasmyth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A view near Woburn, Bedfordshire in September 2010 with an auction result of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 43,083.58).

Die Arbeit The stag shoot von Patrick Nasmyth kam im September 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 960,00 (€ 1.416,20) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Patrick Nasmyth erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A view near Woburn, Bedfordshire im September 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 37.250,00 (€ 43.083,58).
