The result of GBP 1,200.00 (€ 1,719.38) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Patrick Nasmyth achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A view near Woburn, Bedfordshire in September 2010 with an auction result of GBP 37,250.00 (€ 43,083.58).
