Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Patrick Collins achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in November 2021. In the Irish Art auction, the work Moonlit Landscape sold for GBP 10,710.00 (€ 12,574.55) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00. Admittedly, works by Patrick Collins have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 5 Belvedere Place in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 72,000.00 (€ 105,952.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Patrick Collins erzielte im November 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Irish Art wurde die Arbeit Moonlit Landscape für GBP 10.710,00 (€ 12.574,55) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Patrick Collins auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 5 Belvedere Place im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 72.000,00 (€ 105.952,87).
