Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Bog Pool by Patrick Collins was sold in the Irish and 20th Century British Art auction at Christies in London in May 2004. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 5,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 5,019.00 (€ 7,530.35). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Patrick Collins achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 5 Belvedere Place in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 72,000.00 (€ 105,952.87).

Die Arbeit Bog Pool von Patrick Collins wurde im Mai 2004 in der Auktion Irish and 20th Century British Art bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 5.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 5.019,00 (€ 7.530,35) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Patrick Collins erzielen.
