Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Menhirs On The Plain by Patrick Collins was sold in the Irish Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2019. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 11,008.54) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Patrick Collins have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 5 Belvedere Place in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 72,000.00 (€ 105,952.87).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 11.008,54) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden.
