Auction result well in line with expectations
In March 2011 Sothebys in London held the auction The Irish Sale, which included the work Moonlit Landscape by Patrick Collins. It changed hands for a price of GBP 6,875.00 (€ 7,779.03) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Patrick Collins achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 5 Belvedere Place in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 72,000.00 (€ 105,952.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im März 2011 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Irish Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Moonlit Landscape von Patrick Collins zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 6.875,00 (€ 7.779,03) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Patrick Collins erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 5 Belvedere Place im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 72.000,00 (€ 105.952,87).
