The work Goatherders before the Parthenon; and Fishermen hauling in their nets, Piraeus beyond by Pascal Coste was sold in the British, Continental & Russian Pictures auction at Christies in London in April 2007. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,880.00 (€ 4,216.69), 44% above the upper estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pascal Coste - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Unknown, which sold at auction in October 2012 for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,433.25).

Die Arbeit Goatherders before the Parthenon; and Fishermen hauling in their nets, Piraeus beyond von Pascal Coste wurde im April 2007 in der Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.880,00 (€ 4.216,69) und damit 44% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Für andere Arbeiten von Pascal Coste mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Unknown beobachtet, die im Oktober 2012 für GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.433,25) versteigert wurde.
