Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2019 Phillips in an online auction held the auction Unbound: Online Auction, which included the work The Art of Painting a Paint by Numbers Painting of the Art of Painting by Parker Ito. The price achieved of USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,241.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Parker Ito achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Agony And The Ecstasy in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 68,244.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Phillips in einer Online-Auktion die Auktion Unbound: Online Auction durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Art of Painting a Paint by Numbers Painting of the Art of Painting von Parker Ito zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.241,15) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Parker Ito erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Agony And The Ecstasy im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 68.244,78).
