Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Jeanne d'Arc #1 by Parker Ito was auctioned at Phillips in 7 - in December this year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 2,032.00 (€ 1,836.92) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Parker Ito achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Agony And The Ecstasy in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 68,244.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Jeanne d'Arc #1 von Parker Ito kam im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Phillips in 7 - zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 2.032,00 (€ 1.836,92) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Parker Ito erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Agony And The Ecstasy im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 68.244,78).
