Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Parker Ito was sold in the 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale auction at Phillips in Hong Kong in March this year. The price achieved of HKD 127,000.00 (€ 14,870.40) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Admittedly, works by Parker Ito have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Agony And The Ecstasy in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 68,244.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Parker Ito wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion 20th Century & Contemporary Art Day Sale bei Phillips in Hong Kong versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 127.000,00 (€ 14.870,40) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Parker Ito auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Agony And The Ecstasy im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 68.244,78).
