Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Parker Ito could be acquired at Christies in New York in March this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online auction, the work Son of P changed hands for GBP 630.00 (€ 716.75) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Parker Ito achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Agony And The Ecstasy in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 68,244.78).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Parker Ito konnte im März diesen Jahres bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion First Open: Post-War and Contemporary Art Online wechselte die Arbeit Son of P für GBP 630,00 (€ 716,75) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Parker Ito erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Agony And The Ecstasy im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 68.244,78).
