Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Agony and the Ecstasy (7) by Parker Ito was sold in the Heatwave auction at Phillips in an online auction in July 2020. The price achieved of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,673.14) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Parker Ito achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Agony And The Ecstasy in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 56,250.00 (€ 68,244.78).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit The Agony and the Ecstasy (7) von Parker Ito wurde im Juli 2020 in der Auktion Heatwave bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.673,14) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Parker Ito erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Agony And The Ecstasy im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 56.250,00 (€ 68.244,78).
