Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work Woods by Paramjit Singh for GBP 137.50 (€ 153.19). This price was achieved in the auction South Asian Art Online Sale at Bonhams in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 700.00 – 900.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Paramjit Singh achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 'Distant Plains' in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 38,400.00 (€ 56,508.20).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Woods von Paramjit Singh für GBP 137,50 (€ 153,19) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion South Asian Art Online Sale bei Bonhams in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 700,00 – 900,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Paramjit Singh erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 'Distant Plains' im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 38.400,00 (€ 56.508,20).
