A top price for Paramjit Singh
In May 2007 Sothebys in London held the auction The Indian Sale, which included the work 'Distant Plains' by Paramjit Singh. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 35,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 38,400.00 (€ 56,508.20). With this result, 'Distant Plains' is even the most expensive work of art by Paramjit Singh that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im Mai 2007 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion The Indian Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Distant Plains' von Paramjit Singh zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 35.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 38.400,00 (€ 56.508,20) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist 'Distant Plains' sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Paramjit Singh, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
