Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Paramjit Singh was sold in the South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art auction at Christies in London in June 2008. The price achieved of GBP 22,500.00 (€ 28,440.75) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 18,000.00 – 25,000.00. Other works by Paramjit Singh have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2007 the work 'Distant Plains' was auctioned for GBP 38,400.00 (€ 56,508.20).
