Auction result well in line with expectations
In June 2011 Christies in London held the auction South Asian Modern + ContemporaryArt, which included this untitled work by Paramjit Singh. It changed hands for a price of GBP 8,750.00 (€ 9,680.25) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Admittedly, works by Paramjit Singh have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 'Distant Plains' in May 2007 with an auction result of GBP 38,400.00 (€ 56,508.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juni 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion South Asian Modern + ContemporaryArt durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Paramjit Singh zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 8.750,00 (€ 9.680,25) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Paramjit Singh auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 'Distant Plains' im Mai 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 38.400,00 (€ 56.508,20).
