Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2007 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20th Century Chinese Art, which included the work Cliffs by Pang Tseng-Ying. The price achieved of HKD 60,000.00 (€ 5,713.22) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pang Tseng-Ying - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work You He and Me, which sold at auction in October 2002 for HKD 143,400.00 (€ 18,605.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2007 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20th Century Chinese Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cliffs von Pang Tseng-Ying zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 60.000,00 (€ 5.713,22) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Pang Tseng-Ying mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit You He and Me beobachtet, die im Oktober 2002 für HKD 143.400,00 (€ 18.605,28) versteigert wurde.
