Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2002 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction 20TH CENTURY CHINESE ART, which included the work Lovers standing on the sandbar by Pang Tseng-Ying. The price achieved of HKD 119,500.00 (€ 17,018.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Other works by Pang Tseng-Ying have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2002 the work You He and Me was auctioned for HKD 143,400.00 (€ 18,605.28).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2002 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion 20TH CENTURY CHINESE ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lovers standing on the sandbar von Pang Tseng-Ying zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 119.500,00 (€ 17.018,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 100.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Pang Tseng-Ying konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2002 die Arbeit You He and Me für HKD 143.400,00 (€ 18.605,28) versteigert.
