Auction result misses estimated price range
In July 2003 a collector was able to acquire the work Village in the Green Forest by Pang Tseng-Ying for HKD 47,800.00 (€ 4,978.03). This price was achieved in the auction 20TH CENTURY CHINESE ART at Christies in Hong Kong and was even below the estimate range of HKD 50,000.00 – 80,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pang Tseng-Ying - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work You He and Me, which sold at auction in October 2002 for HKD 143,400.00 (€ 18,605.28).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Juli 2003 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Village in the Green Forest von Pang Tseng-Ying für HKD 47.800,00 (€ 4.978,03) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20TH CENTURY CHINESE ART bei Christies in Hong Kong erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von HKD 50.000,00 – 80.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Pang Tseng-Ying mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit You He and Me beobachtet, die im Oktober 2002 für HKD 143.400,00 (€ 18.605,28) versteigert wurde.
