In May 2015 Christies in Hong Kong held the auction Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale), which included the work Vue d'Honfleur by Pan Yuliang. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 562,500.00 (€ 66,001.91), 25% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pan Yuliang achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Lady Bathers At The Seashore in October 2019 with an auction result of HKD 17,400,000.00 (€ 1,988,794.26).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Im Mai 2015 führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion Asian 20th Century Art (Day Sale) durch, in der auch die Arbeit Vue d'Honfleur von Pan Yuliang zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 562.500,00 (€ 66.001,91) und damit 25% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pan Yuliang erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Lady Bathers At The Seashore im Oktober 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 17.400.000,00 (€ 1.988.794,26).
