Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Pae White could be acquired at Sothebys in London in September 2017 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Day Sale auction, the work Web Sampler 2000 (#3) changed hands for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,119.91) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Pae White have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Scrapestry 6. in May 2019 with an auction result of EUR 18,750.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pae White konnte im September 2017 bei Sothebys in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Day Sale wechselte die Arbeit Web Sampler 2000 (#3) für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.119,91) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pae White auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Scrapestry 6. im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 18.750,00.
