This artwork by Pablo Picasso achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in November 2005. In the Impressionist and Modern Art (Day Sale) auction, the work Engraved Bottle (A.R. 248) sold for USD 7,200.00 (€ 6,106.87) - well above the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Pablo Picasso achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 179,365,000.00 (€ 163,148,080.77).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Pablo Picasso erzielte im November 2005 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Art (Day Sale) wurde die Arbeit Engraved Bottle (A.R. 248) für USD 7.200,00 (€ 6.106,87) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Pablo Picasso erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Les femmes d'Alger (Version 'O') im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 179.365.000,00 (€ 163.148.080,77).
