Artwork auctioned at three times the upper estimate price
The work Leopard Print Shoes by Pamela J. Crook was worth GBP 4,864.00 (€ 5,674.81) to a buyer in July this year. This price was achieved in the auction Modern British and Irish Art at Bonhams in Los Angeles and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 many times over. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pamela J. Crook - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tiger Child, which sold at auction in March 2013 for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,782.07).

Die Arbeit Leopard Print Shoes von Pamela J. Crook war einem Käufer im Juli diesen Jahres GBP 4.864,00 (€ 5.674,81) wert. Dieser Preise wurde in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in Los Angeles erzielt und übertraf den zuvor angesetzten oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 um ein Vielfaches. Für andere Arbeiten von Pamela J. Crook mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tiger Child beobachtet, die im März 2013 für GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.782,07) versteigert wurde.
