The work Les Enfants by Pamela J. Crook was sold in the Modern British and Irish Art auction at Bonhams in London in December 2020. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,295.00 (€ 2,563.72), 28% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Pamela J. Crook have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Tiger Child in March 2013 with an auction result of GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,782.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 28 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Les Enfants von Pamela J. Crook wurde im Dezember 2020 in der Auktion Modern British and Irish Art bei Bonhams in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.295,00 (€ 2.563,72) und damit 28% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Pamela J. Crook auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Tiger Child im März 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.782,07).
