Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2021 Bonhams in London held the auction Modern British and Irish Art, which included the work The Chase overall by Pamela J. Crook. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 6,375.00 (€ 7,333.10) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Pamela J. Crook - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Tiger Child, which sold at auction in March 2013 for GBP 15,000.00 (€ 17,782.07).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April 2021 führte Bonhams in London die Auktion Modern British and Irish Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit The Chase overall von Pamela J. Crook zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 6.375,00 (€ 7.333,10) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Pamela J. Crook mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Tiger Child beobachtet, die im März 2013 für GBP 15.000,00 (€ 17.782,07) versteigert wurde.
