Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by P. C. Skovgaard could be acquired at Bruun Rasmussen in December this year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Paintings and drawings auction, the work View from Møns Klint (the cliff of Møn) changed hands for DKK 55,000.00 (€ 7,378.41) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of DKK 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by P. C. Skovgaard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Forest scenery with a woman standing between the trees in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 42,000.00 (€ 36,706.87).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von P. C. Skovgaard konnte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bruun Rasmussen für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Paintings and drawings wechselte die Arbeit View from Møns Klint (the cliff of Møn) für DKK 55.000,00 (€ 7.378,41) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von DKK 60.000,00 – 80.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von P. C. Skovgaard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Forest scenery with a woman standing between the trees im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 42.000,00 (€ 36.706,87).
