Auction result well in line with expectations
In October this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Paintings, furniture and varia, which included the work “Italiensk Landskab. Udsigt fra Bjergene ved Olevano mod Civitella. Eftermiddag i September” by P. C. Skovgaard. The price achieved of DKK 34,000.00 (€ 4,555.64) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as DKK 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by P. C. Skovgaard have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Forest scenery with a woman standing between the trees in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 42,000.00 (€ 36,706.87).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia durch, in der auch die Arbeit “Italiensk Landskab. Udsigt fra Bjergene ved Olevano mod Civitella. Eftermiddag i September” von P. C. Skovgaard zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von DKK 34.000,00 (€ 4.555,64) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit DKK 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von P. C. Skovgaard auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Forest scenery with a woman standing between the trees im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 42.000,00 (€ 36.706,87).
