In October this year Bruun Rasmussen held the auction Paintings, furniture and varia, which included the work View from a forest bed by P. C. Skovgaard. The »bidding war« ended at DKK 16,000.00 (€ 2,143.83), 60% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by P. C. Skovgaard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Forest scenery with a woman standing between the trees in January 2024 with an auction result of DKK 42,000.00 (€ 36,706.87).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 60 % übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte Bruun Rasmussen die Auktion Paintings, furniture and varia durch, in der auch die Arbeit View from a forest bed von P. C. Skovgaard zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von DKK 16.000,00 (€ 2.143,83) und damit 60% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von P. C. Skovgaard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Forest scenery with a woman standing between the trees im Januar 2024 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von DKK 42.000,00 (€ 36.706,87).
