This artwork by Otto Hesselbom achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bukowski in December this year. In the Important Winter Sale auction, the work "Pine Tree in Snow" sold for SEK 70,000.00 (€ 6,296.33) - well above the upper estimate of SEK 40,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Otto Hesselbom - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Vårt land" (Our Country), which sold at auction in December 2019 for SEK 145,000.00 (€ 13,819.36).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Otto Hesselbom erzielte im Dezember diesen Jahres bei Bukowski einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Important Winter Sale wurde die Arbeit "Pine Tree in Snow" für SEK 70.000,00 (€ 6.296,33) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von SEK 40.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Otto Hesselbom mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Vårt land" (Our Country) beobachtet, die im Dezember 2019 für SEK 145.000,00 (€ 13.819,36) versteigert wurde.
