It achieved a price of SEK 32,000.00 (€ 2,716.48), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 28%. Admittedly, works by Otto Hesselbom have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "Vårt land" (Our Country) in December 2019 with an auction result of SEK 145,000.00 (€ 13,819.36).

Die Arbeit "Kvarndammen" von Otto Hesselbom kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bukowski in Stockholm zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 32.000,00 (€ 2.716,48) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 28%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Otto Hesselbom auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "Vårt land" (Our Country) im Dezember 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 145.000,00 (€ 13.819,36).
