Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Otto Gustaf Carlsund could be acquired at Bukowski in Stockholm in November 2018 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Modern Art + Design auction, the work "Trettio stora namn" (29) changed hands for SEK 120,000.00 (€ 11,647.09) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of SEK 150,000.00 – 175,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Otto Gustaf Carlsund achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Brun maskinist" (L'Operateur brun) in December 2016 with an auction result of SEK 7,500,000.00 (€ 782,553.07).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Otto Gustaf Carlsund konnte im November 2018 bei Bukowski in Stockholm für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Modern Art + Design wechselte die Arbeit "Trettio stora namn" (29) für SEK 120.000,00 (€ 11.647,09) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von SEK 150.000,00 – 175.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Otto Gustaf Carlsund erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Brun maskinist" (L'Operateur brun) im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 7.500.000,00 (€ 782.553,07).
