Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Study for "Muralmålning på manganblå grund" by Otto Gustaf Carlsund was sold in the Modern Art + Design auction at Bukowski in Stockholm in November this year. It achieved a price of SEK 48,000.00 (€ 4,215.62), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Otto Gustaf Carlsund achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Brun maskinist" (L'Operateur brun) in December 2016 with an auction result of SEK 7,500,000.00 (€ 782,553.07).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Study for "Muralmålning på manganblå grund" von Otto Gustaf Carlsund wurde im November diesen Jahres in der Auktion Modern Art + Design bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von SEK 48.000,00 (€ 4.215,62) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Otto Gustaf Carlsund erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Brun maskinist" (L'Operateur brun) im Dezember 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 7.500.000,00 (€ 782.553,07).
