Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Otto Freundlich achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in February 2020. In the Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper auction, the work Landschaft sold for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 31,872.56) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Otto Freundlich achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fragments De Figure À L'Ensemble Des Plans in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 450,000.00 (€ 528,634.08).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Otto Freundlich erzielte im Februar 2020 bei Christies in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Impressionist and Modern Works on Paper wurde die Arbeit Landschaft für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 31.872,56) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Otto Freundlich erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fragments De Figure À L'Ensemble Des Plans im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 450.000,00 (€ 528.634,08).
