The work Composition by Otto Freundlich was sold in the Impressionist & Modern Art auction at Sothebys in New York in September 2021. It achieved a price of USD 1,008.00 (€ 870.69), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Otto Freundlich achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Fragments De Figure À L'Ensemble Des Plans in March 2021 with an auction result of GBP 450,000.00 (€ 528,634.08).

Die Arbeit Composition von Otto Freundlich wurde im September 2021 in der Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 1.008,00 (€ 870,69) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 26%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Otto Freundlich erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Fragments De Figure À L'Ensemble Des Plans im März 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 450.000,00 (€ 528.634,08).
