Auction result misses estimated price range
When the work Vår i Paris by Otte Sköld was auctioned at Bukowski in Stockholm in May 2010, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of SEK 130,000.00 – 150,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for SEK 125,000.00 (€ 12,965.88). Admittedly, works by Otte Sköld have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work "20 Rue Ernest Cresson" in October 2012 with an auction result of SEK 500,000.00 (€ 58,149.41).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als die Arbeit Vår i Paris von Otte Sköld im Mai 2010 bei Bukowski in Stockholm versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von SEK 130.000,00 – 150.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für SEK 125.000,00 (€ 12.965,88) den Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Otte Sköld auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit "20 Rue Ernest Cresson" im Oktober 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von SEK 500.000,00 (€ 58.149,41).
