Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Target Practice by Otis Kaye was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in November 2012. The price achieved of USD 92,500.00 (€ 71,099.15) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Admittedly, works by Otis Kaye have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Easy Come, Easy Go in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 514,000.00 (€ 467,527.74).
