In November 2006 Christies in New York held the auction American Paintings, which included the work Otis Kaye's Coin Collection by Otis Kaye. The »bidding war« ended at USD 48,000.00 (€ 36,196.37), 37% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Otis Kaye achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Easy Come, Easy Go in May 2015 with an auction result of USD 514,000.00 (€ 467,527.74).

Im November 2006 führte Christies in New York die Auktion American Paintings durch, in der auch die Arbeit Otis Kaye's Coin Collection von Otis Kaye zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 48.000,00 (€ 36.196,37) und damit 37% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Otis Kaye erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Easy Come, Easy Go im Mai 2015 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 514.000,00 (€ 467.527,74).
