In December 2019 Sothebys in New York held the auction Contemporary Art Online | New York, which included the work Containers #70 by Oscar Lakeman. The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,000.00 (€ 3,562.84), 33% above the upper estimate. Other works by Oscar Lakeman have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 4,800.00 (€ 3,692.88) in January 2007 for the work Containers #83.

Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 4.000,00 (€ 3.562,84) und damit 33% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Oscar Lakeman haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.800,00 (€ 3.692,88) im Januar 2007 für die Arbeit Containers #83 beobachtet.
