Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Threshing Time by Oscar Edmund Berninghaus was auctioned at Bonhams in Los Angeles in August 2021. It changed hands for a price of USD 56,562.50 (€ 47,934.32) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Oscar Edmund Berninghaus achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Ancient Forest of the Indians 25 x 30 in. framed 30 x 35 in. in November last year with an auction result of USD 542,175.00 (€ 525,210.69).

Die Arbeit Threshing Time von Oscar Edmund Berninghaus kam im August 2021 bei Bonhams in Los Angeles zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 56.562,50 (€ 47.934,32) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00.
