A top price for Oscar Edmund Berninghaus
In November last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction The Collection of G. Andrew Bjurman, which included the work The Ancient Forest of the Indians 25 x 30 in. framed 30 x 35 in. by Oscar Edmund Berninghaus. Here, the upper estimate of USD 500,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 542,175.00 (€ 525,210.69).
