Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Patan, Nepal; & Bali by Ong Kim Seng was sold in the A Special Selection of Asian 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Day Sale) auction at Christies in Hong Kong in November 2013. The »bidding war« ended at HKD 81,250.00 (€ 7,703.40), 16% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ong Kim Seng achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Nepal in April 2017 with an auction result of HKD 725,000.00 (€ 85,575.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Patan, Nepal; & Bali von Ong Kim Seng wurde im November 2013 in der Auktion A Special Selection of Asian 20th Century & Contemporary Art (Day Sale) bei Christies in Hong Kong versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von HKD 81.250,00 (€ 7.703,40) und damit 16% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ong Kim Seng erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Nepal im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 725.000,00 (€ 85.575,95).
