The work Snake's Dream by Omar Rayo was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2018. It achieved a price of USD 60,000.00 (€ 52,989.49), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 50%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Omar Rayo; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Ola-Zen I sold at auction in November 2017 with the realized price of USD 125,000.00 (€ 105,059.67).

Die Arbeit Snake's Dream von Omar Rayo kam im November 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 60.000,00 (€ 52.989,49) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 50%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Omar Rayo; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Ola-Zen I im November 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 125.000,00 (€ 105.059,67).
